Tokyo Home Dining Guest Terms of Use
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the home dining experience service (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provided by Tokyo Home Dining (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"). Guests agree to these Terms and Conditions before using the Service.
Article 2 (Service Details)
Our company offers Japanese home cooking, cultural exchange, and lifestyle experiences to foreign visitors to Japan. Experience details may vary depending on the host and season.
Article 3 (Reservations)
Reservations must be made using the method specified by our company.
Your reservation is confirmed once we approve it.
Guests are required to register their accurate name, contact information, etc.
Article 4 (Fees and Payments)
The price will be the amount displayed at the time of booking.
Payment will be made using our designated payment method (credit card, etc.).
Taxes and fees will be as displayed on the booking screen.
Article 5 (Cancellation)
Cancellations and refunds are subject to our cancellation policy.
Article 6 (Prohibited matters)
Guests are prohibited from engaging in the following actions:
Violations of laws and regulations; disruptive behavior towards hosts, interpreters, or other participants; violence, threats, discrimination, or harassment; excessive drinking or drug use; unauthorized disclosure of hosts' addresses or personal information; unauthorized commercial use of photos or videos; direct transactions with hosts without going through our company; and any other conduct that our company deems inappropriate. Article 7 (Allergies, etc.)
Please declare any food allergies, religious restrictions, or health concerns before making your reservation. We will not be liable for any damages resulting from failure to declare such information, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 8 (Lateness)
Please contact us immediately if you will be late for the start time. Late arrivals exceeding a certain time may result in cancellation.
Article 9 (Photographs and Videos)
Photos and videos taken during the experience may be used in our public relations materials, social media, website, etc., only with the guest's explicit consent.
Article 10 (Disclaimer)
We are not liable for damages caused by reasons beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, transportation delays, infectious diseases, or actions of third parties.
Article 11 (Personal information)
Our company manages acquired personal information appropriately in accordance with our privacy policy.
Article 12 (Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces)
The guest represents and warrants that they are not, and will not in the future be, affiliated with any organized crime group or other anti-social force.
Article 13 (Amendment of the Regulations)
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions as needed. Any changes will take effect from the time they are published on our website or other designated platforms.
Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Japanese law, and any disputes relating to this service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court as the court of first instance.
Tokyo Home Dining Host Agreement
Article 1 (Purpose)
This agreement aims to define the matters concerning the provision of home dining experience services between Tokyo Home Dining (hereinafter referred to as "Party A") and the host (hereinafter referred to as "Party B").
Article 2 (Contract form)
Party B will register as Party A's host and provide services based on this agreement.
This agreement is a service contract, not an employment contract.
Article 3 (Business content)
Party B will perform the following duties:
- Welcoming foreign guests - Providing home-style cooking - Introducing Japanese culture - Ensuring a safe experience - Guiding guests around the neighborhood as needed - Cooperating with photography (with guest consent)
Article 4 (Remuneration)
Compensation will be paid after the experience is completed, according to the method determined by Party A.
The fee will be as specified in the attached fee schedule.
Bank transfer fees will be determined separately.
Article 5 (Provision of Services)
Party B will provide honest and safe service and treat guests with courtesy.
Article 6 (Hygiene management)
Party B will pay close attention to food hygiene and maintain a clean cooking environment.
We will thoroughly manage ingredients and maintain hygiene for cooking utensils.
Article 7 (Personal information)
Party B must not disclose the guest's personal information to any third party.
The obligation to maintain confidentiality will continue even after the service is terminated.
Article 8 (Prohibited matters)
Party B is prohibited from doing the following:
- Personal financial transactions with guests - Direct bookings not made through the operating company - Discrimination, abusive language, and harassment - Religious and political activities - Illegal activities - Actions that damage the reputation of the operating company Article 9 (Compensation for Damages)
If Party B causes damage to Party A or the guest due to Party B's willful misconduct or gross negligence, Party B shall be liable for compensating such damage.
Article 10 (Insurance)
The scope of coverage of the insurance policy that Party A is enrolled in depends on the terms of the insurance contract.
Party B will act with an understanding of the insurance coverage.
Article 11 (Cancellation)
Party B shall promptly contact Party A if they wish to cancel the experience.
Except in unavoidable circumstances, unauthorized cancellations are prohibited.
Article 12 (Contract Period)
The contract period is one year from the date of signing, and will be automatically renewed unless either party requests otherwise.
Article 13 (Termination of Contract)
Party A may immediately terminate the contract in the following cases:
- Serious breach of contract - Repeated no-shows - Serious complaints from guests - Violation of laws and regulations - If a relationship with anti-social forces is discovered Article 14 (Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces)
Party B represents and warrants that it does not belong to any organized crime group or other anti-social force.
Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
This agreement shall be governed by Japanese law.
Any disputes relating to this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court as the court of first instance.
Tokyo Home Dining Interpretation Services Outsourcing Agreement
Tokyo Home Dining Interpretation Services Outsourcing Agreement Article 1 (Purpose)
This agreement aims to define the matters concerning the outsourcing of interpretation services for home dining experiences for foreign visitors to Japan between Tokyo Home Dining (hereinafter referred to as "Party A") and the interpretation staff (hereinafter referred to as "Party B").
Article 2 (Contract form)
This agreement is a service contract, not an employment contract.
Party B shall perform the duties at their own discretion and responsibility.
Article 3 (Business content)
Party B will perform the following duties:
English interpretation between host and guest; guest assistance at meeting place; guiding to host's home; interpretation during meals; assistance with explaining Japanese culture; accompanying guests on shopping trips as needed; interpretation assistance in emergencies; support until the end of the experience. Article 4 (Remuneration)
Compensation will be paid for each experience session at a rate determined by Party A.
Compensation will be calculated at the end of the month and paid at the end of the following month (or by a method determined by the management).
If withholding tax or other similar measures are required, we will comply with the law.
Article 5 (Working Hours)
Working hours will be from the start to the end of the trial.
If you are going to be late or absent, you must contact Party A immediately.
Article 6 (Confidentiality Obligation)
Party B shall not disclose to any third party any of the following information obtained in the course of their duties.
Guest information, host information, reservation information, operational information, sales information, manuals. Confidentiality will continue even after the contract ends.
Article 7 (Personal information protection)
Party B shall comply with the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws and regulations, and shall not use the personal information it has acquired for any purpose other than business purposes.
Article 8 (Prohibited matters)
Party B must not perform the following actions:
Direct contracts with guests; direct contracts with hosts; monetary transactions not conducted through management; harassment; discriminatory behavior; political or religious activities; working while intoxicated; illegal activities.
Unauthorized disclosure of information on social media, etc. Article 9 (Clothing and Appearance)
Employee B will perform their duties in clean and presentable attire, striving to maintain a neat appearance that gives guests a sense of security.
Article 10 (In case of accident or emergency)
In the event of an accident, illness, disaster, etc.,
We will ensure the safety of our guests, call 119 or 110 as necessary, and promptly report to Party A.
Article 11 (Compensation for damages)
If Party B causes damage to Party A or a third party due to Party B's willful misconduct or gross negligence, Party B shall be liable for damages to the extent permitted by law.
Article 12 (Contract Period)
The contract period is one year from the date of signing, and will be automatically renewed unless either party requests otherwise.
Article 13 (Termination of Contract)
Party A may immediately terminate the contract in the following cases:
Breach of contract, unauthorized absence, repeated tardiness, serious complaints from guests, breach of confidentiality, violation of laws and regulations, and if a relationship with anti-social forces is discovered. Article 14 (Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces)
Party B represents and warrants that it is not a member of any organized crime group or other anti-social force, and will not be involved with such a group in the future.
Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
This agreement shall be governed by Japanese law, and any disputes relating to this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court as the court of first instance.
