Tokyo Home Dining Guest Terms of Use
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") set forth the terms of use for the home dining experience service (the "Service") provided by Tokyo Home Dining (the "Company"). Guests shall use the Service upon agreeing to these Terms.
Article 2 (Service Content)
The Company provides visitors to Japan and others with Japanese home cooking, cultural exchange, lifestyle experiences, and the like. The content of the experience may vary depending on the host, season, and other factors.
Article 3 (Reservations)

Reservations shall be applied for by the method designated by the Company.

A reservation shall be established at the time the Company approves it.

Guests shall register accurate names, contact information, and other details.
Article 4 (Fees and Payment)

The fee shall be the amount displayed at the time of reservation.

Payment shall be made by the payment method designated by the Company (credit card, etc.).

Taxes and fees shall be as indicated on the reservation screen.
Article 5 (Cancellation)
Cancellations shall be handled in accordance with the Company's cancellation policy.
Article 6 (Guest Obligations)
Guests shall comply with the following:
(1) Punctuality
(2) Respect for the host and interpreter
(3) Compliance with Japanese law
(4) Careful use of household facilities and equipment
(5) Compliance with hygiene rules
Article 7 (Prohibited Acts)
Guests shall not engage in any of the following acts:
(1) Violation of laws and regulations
(2) Causing a nuisance to the host, interpreter, or other participants
(3) Violence, verbal abuse, threats, discrimination, or harassment
(4) Religious or political activities
(5) Excessive drinking or drug use
(6) Unauthorized disclosure of the host's address or other personal information
(7) Unauthorized taking, recording, or use of photographs or videos
(8) Conducting transactions directly with the host without going through the Company
(9) Any other act deemed inappropriate by the Company
Article 8 (Suspension of the Service)
The Company may suspend the Service in any of the following cases:
(1) When it is difficult to ensure safety
(2) When the event cannot be held due to a disaster or other similar cause
(3) When there has been a violation of these Terms
Article 9 (Compensation for Damages)
If a Guest causes damage to the host, interpreter, the Company, or a third party through intent or negligence, the Guest may be held liable for compensation for damages in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Article 10 (Allergies, etc.)
Food allergies, religious dietary restrictions, and health-related precautions must be declared by the time of reservation. The Company shall not be liable for any damage resulting from a failure to make such a declaration, except in cases of intent or gross negligence on the part of the Company.
Article 11 (Lateness)
If a Guest will be late for the start time, they must contact the Company promptly. Lateness beyond a certain period of time may be treated as a cancellation.
Article 12 (Photographs and Videos)
Photographs and videos taken during the experience may be used by the Company for public relations, social media, its website, and similar purposes, but only with the consent of the Guest concerned.
Article 13 (Disclaimer)
The Company shall not be liable for any damage arising from causes not attributable to the Company, such as natural disasters, delays in transportation, infectious diseases, or the acts of third parties.
Article 14 (Personal Information)
The Company shall appropriately manage personal information it has obtained in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Article 15 (Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces)
Guests represent and warrant that they do not fall under the category of organized crime groups (bōryokudan) or other anti-social forces, and that they will not become involved with such groups in the future.
Article 16 (Amendment of the Terms)
The Company may amend these Terms as necessary. Any amendment shall take effect from the time it is announced on the Company's website or by other means.
Article 17 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan, and the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute relating to the Service.
Tokyo Home Dining Host Agreement
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of this Agreement is to set forth the matters relating to the provision of the home dining experience service between Tokyo Home Dining ("Party A") and the host ("Party B").
Article 2 (Form of Contract)
Party B shall register as a host of Party A and shall provide services based on this Agreement and the Host Guidelines. This Agreement is not an employment contract, but a service commission (independent contractor) agreement.
Article 3 (Scope of Work)
Party B shall perform the following work:
(1) Receiving and hosting foreign guests
(2) Providing home-cooked meals
(3) Introducing Japanese culture
(4) Providing the experience
(5) Guiding guests around the neighborhood
(6) Cooperating with photography (where the guest has given consent)
Article 4 (Compensation)
Compensation shall be paid after the experience has ended, by the method determined by Party A. The amount of compensation shall be as set forth in the attached fee schedule. Bank transfer fees shall be determined separately.
Article 5 (Provision of Service)
Party B shall provide the service faithfully and safely, and shall treat guests courteously.
Article 6 (Hygiene Management)
Party B shall pay close attention to food hygiene and maintain a clean cooking environment. Party B shall thoroughly manage the handling of ingredients and the hygiene of cooking utensils.
Article 7 (Personal Information)
Party B shall not disclose guests' personal information to any third party. The confidentiality obligation shall continue even after the service has ended.
Article 8 (Prohibited Acts)
Party B is prohibited from engaging in the following acts:
(1) Personal monetary transactions with guests
(2) Direct reservations not made through the operating company
(3) Verbal abuse or harassment
(4) Discriminatory speech or conduct
(5) Religious or political activities
(6) Performing work while intoxicated
(7) Illegal acts
(8) Unauthorized disclosure of information on social media, etc.
(9) Any act that damages the credibility of the operator
Article 9 (Attire and Grooming)
Party B shall perform its work wearing clean, presentable attire and shall maintain a well-groomed appearance that gives guests a sense of reassurance.
Article 10 (Accidents and Emergencies)
In the event of an accident, illness, disaster, or similar occurrence, Party B shall ensure the guest's safety, contact emergency services (119 or 110) as necessary, and promptly report the matter to Party A.
Article 11 (Compensation for Damages)
If Party B causes damage to Party A or a guest through intent or negligence, Party B shall be liable to compensate for such damage.
Article 12 (Insurance)
The scope of coverage of the insurance carried by Party A shall be governed by the terms of the insurance contract. Party B shall carry out its activities with an understanding of the content of such insurance.
Article 13 (Cancellation)
If Party B needs to cancel an experience, Party B shall promptly notify Party A. Except in unavoidable circumstances, cancellation without notice is prohibited.
Article 14 (Term of Agreement)
The term of this Agreement shall be one year from the date of its execution, and shall be automatically renewed unless either party gives notice to the contrary.
Article 15 (Termination of Agreement)
This Agreement may be terminated in any of the following cases:
(1) Breach of this Agreement
(2) Repeated cancellation without notice or repeated lateness
(3) A serious complaint from a guest
(4) Breach of the confidentiality obligation
(5) Violation of laws and regulations
(6) Discovery of a relationship with anti-social forces
Article 14 (Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces)
Party B represents and warrants that it does not itself fall under the category of organized crime groups (bōryokudan) or other anti-social forces, and that it will not become involved with such groups in the future.
Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute relating to this Agreement.
Tokyo Home Dining Interpretation Services Outsourcing Agreement
Tokyo Home Dining Interpretation Services Outsourcing Agreement Article 1 (Purpose)
This agreement aims to define the matters concerning the outsourcing of interpretation services for home dining experiences for foreign visitors to Japan between Tokyo Home Dining (hereinafter referred to as "Party A") and the interpretation staff (hereinafter referred to as "Party B").
Article 2 (Contract form)
This agreement is a service contract, not an employment contract.
Party B shall perform the duties at their own discretion and responsibility.
Article 3 (Business content)
Party B will perform the following duties:
English interpretation between host and guest; guest assistance at meeting place; guiding to host's home; interpretation during meals; assistance with explaining Japanese culture; accompanying guests on shopping trips as needed; interpretation assistance in emergencies; support until the end of the experience. Article 4 (Remuneration)
Compensation will be paid for each experience session at a rate determined by Party A.
Compensation will be calculated at the end of the month and paid at the end of the following month (or by a method determined by the management).
If withholding tax or other similar measures are required, we will comply with the law.
Article 5 (Working Hours)
Working hours will be from the start to the end of the trial.
If you are going to be late or absent, you must contact Party A immediately.
Article 6 (Confidentiality Obligation)
Party B shall not disclose to any third party any of the following information obtained in the course of their duties.
Guest information, host information, reservation information, operational information, sales information, manuals. Confidentiality will continue even after the contract ends.
Article 7 (Personal information protection)
Party B shall comply with the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws and regulations, and shall not use the personal information it has acquired for any purpose other than business purposes.
Article 8 (Prohibited matters)
Party B must not perform the following actions:
Direct contracts with guests; direct contracts with hosts; monetary transactions not conducted through management; harassment; discriminatory behavior; political or religious activities; working while intoxicated; illegal activities.
Unauthorized disclosure of information on social media, etc. Article 9 (Clothing and Appearance)
Employee B will perform their duties in clean and presentable attire, striving to maintain a neat appearance that gives guests a sense of security.
Article 10 (In case of accident or emergency)
In the event of an accident, illness, disaster, etc.,
We will ensure the safety of our guests, call 119 or 110 as necessary, and promptly report to Party A.
Article 11 (Compensation for damages)
If Party B causes damage to Party A or a third party due to Party B's willful misconduct or gross negligence, Party B shall be liable for damages to the extent permitted by law.
Article 12 (Contract Period)
The contract period is one year from the date of signing, and will be automatically renewed unless either party requests otherwise.
Article 13 (Termination of Contract)
Party A may immediately terminate the contract in the following cases:
Breach of contract, unauthorized absence, repeated tardiness, serious complaints from guests, breach of confidentiality, violation of laws and regulations, and if a relationship with anti-social forces is discovered. Article 14 (Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces)
Party B represents and warrants that it is not a member of any organized crime group or other anti-social force, and will not be involved with such a group in the future.
Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
This agreement shall be governed by Japanese law, and any disputes relating to this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court as the court of first instance.
